Roy Days 2010

We were able to work at Roy Days this year and it was a lot of work, but a lot of fun! It was our first major event and we were pretty happy with how everything worked out. The boys were up at the park to start cooking at 4:00 AM on Friday and 2:00 AM Saturday morning. They have to start smoking the meat early and then make sure it stays at the right temperature the whole time it's cooking. It was a very exhausting weekend for the guys, but worth it in the end.

Building the Business

Brody designed our logo and it looks AMAZING!! He has also made us a website, which you can check out at rockincbbq.com

Keith came up with an awesome set-up for our canopy when we work at the fairs and other venues. The boys all got together numerous times to construct it and we are all so happy with the final product!

How We Got Started

Our awesome smokers (Cameron and Brody) really wanted to get into a different line of work. They considered starting a Subway Franchise, but then got talking to Cameron's dad Keith, who suggested they should look into starting a BBQ place. Cameron and Brody discussed it and decided that it was a great idea. They have been really determined to get this going, and it has finally started! They started with a few meetings, found the equipment they were going to need, got all the required business information taken care off, and now Rockin' C BBQ is a hit!!
